Being mindful is being present and aware. Not judging, but accepting that IS. Leaving the stories and expectations of past and future behind and working with what is Alive right here and now.

And for me as a wedding photographer it means allowing myself to just observe so I can truly see what is in front of me. I like to direct less and let things happen by themselves more.

In practice this means that when I shoot I pay extra attention trying not to get carried away thinking about how I did it previous times, or how I “should” do it.

Instead, looking through the lens of my present, connected to the moment, open heart, allows me to always see something new and beautiful even in places and situations I feel I have seen so many times.

After the wedding

• Do you edit all the photos?

Yes! And I do it by color and contrast enhancements only. Face touch ups and removing little spots and dots included, but I don’t use photoshop at all. So if you find some people in my photos looking good, know that they are just people like you, naturally beautiful.

• I love b&w photos. Do you make them too and how many of those we can expect to get?

I like them too! There is no set rule as I prefer my creativity to guide me, but in each set of photos there is usually at least 10% of b&w photos.

• How many images do we get and in what format?

Depending on what your day consists of from the preparations to the party - is there a church wedding, bridal party, portraits with guests, and so on, you’ll get in between 500-800 full resolution digital JPG edited files.

Do we click?

Shooting weddings for me is very personal. I want to fully commit, invest my time, skills and energy and connect only with like-minded people. Understanding each other will help us create something even more beautiful and meaningful together.

Whoever you are, I really want you to be happy with your wedding images. And sometimes that means hiring someone else.

- You like to play and experiment - Even though it is your wedding day, you are always open to exploring and playing.

-You dream about your wedding since you were a little girl, and have every detail of it planned out - That’s a beautiful idea, but as life usually takes its own course, and things don’t go as planned, it just puts too much pressure on everyone involved in your wedding day including me.

- You want your photos to be photoshopped - Then we disagree big time because I honestly think you are beautiful just the way you are.

- You want me to replicate other photographers’ work - Sure, nothing is new, everything is already seen, and we are all influenced by someone or something. Instead of replicating other people’s work I’d rather spend that time creating something unique with you.
